My name is Katie.
I am an Assistant Editor in Classics (Greek and Roman history etc.) at Cambridge University Press by day, writer and illustrator by night.
I am a 2019 graduate of the MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. My work has been displayed at the 2019 Bologna Children’s Book Illustration fair, and I have worked on various commissions for Cambridge University and their Classics museum.
I often find inspiration in the everyday and ordinary, as I’m a big fan of people-watching and observational sketching, but Classics is a huge, huge love of mine, and I find that the stories from the ancient world are increasingly adding to my inspiration….
